The special education component of Visually Impaired services is designed to offer technical assistance, training, and other support to schools and ECI agencies serving children with visual impairments ages birth to 22. The specialist initiates and coordinates activities with stakeholders which result in a comprehensive regional plan for these students.
The ESC provides access to statewide information, training, and local professional development and technical assistance.
