Texas Student Data System – District Feedback Forum –
April 1, 2010, 1-4 PM at Region 8 ESC
Attendees to this interactive forum hosted by the TEA will learn more about the Texas Student Data System and have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the design and content of new reporting tools that will help teachers, principals and staff quickly diagnose issues and improve student performance. Requirements for a state-sponsored student information system will also be discussed. The audience for the forum will be: teachers, principals, superintendents, administrative staff, PEIMS coordinators and student information management specialists. Click here to register.

NORTHEAST TEXAS SPECIAL NEEDS CONFERENCE:
The Northeast Texas Special Needs Conference, hosted by the Red River Down Syndrome Society and sponsored by Region 8, will be held at Akin Elementary School in Paris, on Feb 27, 2010. The conference has expanded to include topics related to all intellectual disabilities. Registration is online at www.redriverdss.org/conference
